Bakersfield, CA - Two years after its grand opening, Old River Ranch in West Bakersfield is still setting trends in the area. The mission modern design of this neighborhood shopping center has brought a fresh destination to the expanding western development edge of Bakersfield. Five of the six buildings in the center were completed, fully leased, and opened in 2024. The anchor tenant, a 55,000-square-foot Vallarta Supermarket, is scheduled to begin construction in early spring 2026, completing the project.

The center includes a mix of neighborhood orientated shops, both quick service and fast casual restaurants, and a communal dining/entertainment area sheltered from the elements by an architecturally integrated trellis structure giving local residents a unique setting to enjoy food, friends, and conversation.
