Tustin, California - Bickel Group is proud to be a part of the project team bringing Campo on 17th to life in Tustin for Burnham-Ward Properties. Campo on 17th will bring the beloved Enderle Center shopping center into its next iteration, while maintaining the community-centric character the center has had for decades. A mixture of new construction and remodeling of existing structures, the project focuses on areas of discovery, a sense of place, and a central green for the project that can continue to be a community gathering place.

Working with Lifescapes International, Kimley Horn, RSM, and Dempsey Construction, among others, Bickel Group was tasked with finding design solutions for a site plan that are cohesive but efficient, that tie together the new and old structures, reconcile existing conditions and grading limitations, and lend flexibility for future tenants’ needs. Elevation-wise, a visual language was needed that would work with the existing buildings’ structural limitations, the proposed buildings’ aesthetics and expectations of design quality in the area, and that would give the local community the elevated but relaxed character that was desired.
